Everyone loves Sundays! But if you really think about it, what is the part of a Sunday that we all love? Not the mornings, cos well, lets face it – most of us are hungover! Not the evenings when the realization that Monday will soon come upon us starts to creep in! So yes, the best part about Sunday has to be the afternoon and what better then a fabulous brunch to do that for you right?
Well, now you can make your next Sunday super duper special with the kickass SunDay Brunch at Brewbot. The lavish spread consists of delicious mezze, pasta, salads and along with that, you also get to enjoy mouth watering dishes straight from their kitchen. The Brunch is available with a variety of options –
The Non Alcoholic (with milkshakes & soft drinks) – Rs. 1200/-
Food + Craft Beers + Wines – Rs.1600/- (FRIGGING STEAL!)
Food + all alcohol – Rs. 1800/-
A visit to Brewbot without having any beer is no visit at all! The beers are hand down the best craft beers in Bombay and each btew here is distinct and an absolute gratification! The Sunday Brumch option for Rs. 1600/- consists of unlimited beers and wines along with food and I think this one is truly the best option of their Brunch (unless you are a teetotaller, in which case opt for the non alcoholic brunch which has this crazy good White Choccolate Milkshake thatI loved!).
The “serve yourself” buffet part of the brunch consists of some delicious mezze and a DIY Salad with some crazy good dressings! I made my salad with loads of chicken, lettuce, olives and bacon with my favorite honey mustdard and lemon vinegerate dressing.
Out of the “To Share” section of the Brunch menu, my clear favorite dish was the Beer Cheese Chicken Fries (they have a veg option too). Cricpy fries topped with beautiful pulled chickem, jalapeno sour cream and a gorgeous beer cream sauce! You will not be able to help but lick ever last drop of that cheese sauce off the bowl!
The Grilled Pork Sausage was perfectly grilled and the simplicity of the whole dish was what made it so very good.
The BBQ Chicken Pizza was delicious as well, but yeah, I would definitely love more cheese on it!
The Mustard Chicken Burger was definitely my pick from the mains! The Chicken Patty was absolute perfection and its combination with the caramalized grilled onions, mustard and araguala was a match made in food heaven!
Though I really loved the Hollandaise sauce in the Eggs Benedict, it requred more of the sauce and even more seasoning to it! It looked delicious, but was not as good as I had anticipated it to be.
The Risotto too, though cheesy, was way too bland for my taste!
The Fettucini in Pesto Sacuce was creamy and delicious and the hero of this gorgeous dish was the hand made pasta which was better than most places where I have tried it.
The Beef Steak was well done (just like I like it) and each bite of the combination of the juicy steak with the beautifully rancid sauce topped with a gooey half fried egg was an absolutely ambrosial experience.
Though I didnt try any of the desserts (yeah, i try!), everyone on thee table loved the Waffles with the Stout Sauce and couldnt stop raving about it! I did manage to take a picture though 🙂
All in all, in this brutal world of Rs. 4000/- worth Sunday Brunches, Brewbot has brought to us a truly special sunday brunch at an extremely competitive price. Along with some fab food and beer, they also have some fun games and activites that you could do and make your Sunday a truly memorable one!
Untill next time….
