Healthy Indian food at The Charcoal Kitchen.

Lets be honest! Indian, the Mughlai, Punjabi types….its delicious! Damn delicious! But another truth is that it is heavy….damn heavy 😛

The one basic dilemma faced by us Indians, after our hardcore and irresistible cravings for a Dal Makhni or a Butter Chicken is  – to eat tasty or to eat healthy. Well guess what? That is now coming to a halt! The Charcoal Kitchen brings to us, to our doorstep, healthy, delicious and nutritious Indian food to your relief!

The Charcoal Kitchen offers delicacies, which have their origin from Central Asia and North India.

On the menu is a lavish spread of options like Murgh Musallam, Subz Sia Mirch, Lucknowi Murgh Biryani, Mutton Delhi Korma, Dal Bukharna and many more!

By incorporating old style cooking methods and equipment’s, The Charcoal Kitchen focuses on slow cooking, fresh ingredients, simmering tandoor and copper pots. MSG, soda, hydrogenated fats; oil and superfluous amounts of cream and butter- have all been done away with!

I samples some of their finest kebabs and my favorites had to be the Seekh Kebabs, the Murg Malai Kebab and the Mutton Adraki Chaap.

The must have mains are the delicious Dal Makhni  and the Chicken Korma.

It is truly the perfect meal to binge on in the monsoon!
